We grow all of our vegetables and herbs from seed directly on the farm. We prioritize growing organic, open-pollinated, and heirloom seeds whenever possible and use potting soil and organic fertilizer from Ohio Earth Food. We have two small greenhouses, a few indoor grow lights, and lots of improvised tunnels to nurture tiny seedlings into strong, healthy plants.
We believe it is important to support biological and culinary diversity. We seek varieties that are unique, delicious, and fun to cook.
Our container sizes can vary. We try to reduce container waste as much as possible. We re-use containers that would otherwise be thrown out at plant nurseries and are also happy to re-use small containers from our friends and customers!
